HPPI Grants Led by Schools of Public Health

In 2000, the third cycle of HPPI funding, public health became an additional focus of the HPPI grants, and five accredited schools of public health were awarded funding specifically to lead Public Health HPPI grants (PH-HPPI) to increase career awareness and integrate public health in the curricula of students (K-12 to post-graduate), and the current health professions workforce.

The PH-HPPI grants are funded by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation via the AAMC, the HPPI National Program Office, and are administered the AAMC, with technical assistance provided by ASPH. For more information on the public health-led HPPI projects, contact:
